Take your place at the heart of the American Speed Festival—whether you're showcasing your vehicle or competing on track. The ASF Participant program offers enthusiasts and drivers the opportunity to be more than spectators, with access to the M1 Circuit and exclusive participant amenities.
Participants can choose between a non-competitive ASF Exhibitor or an ASF Competitor in the designated classes below, each designed to deliver a premium, on-track experience within a professionally managed environment.
All participants must provide their own vehicle and complete a technical inspection prior to any on-track activity
ASF Competitor
A competitive, timed on-track experience as part of the American Speed Festival Challenge. Designed for drivers participating in official competition series and featured race groups.
ASF Exhibitor
A non-competitive, high-performance driving experience focused on seat time, enjoyment, and being part of the festival. Includes parade-style and controlled on-track sessions.
ASF Display-Only
A chance to showcase your display vehicle and provide our audience the opportunity to view exciting performance machines at the American Speed Festival.

ASF Challenge
As an ASF Competitor, an exciting highlight of the American Speed Festival is the ASF Challenge—a thrilling race against the clock on M1 Concourse’s 1.5-mile road course.
The ASF Challenge is a timed competition that tests both driver skill and vehicle performance, challenging competitors to push the limits in pursuit of the fastest lap. Drivers compete in their own race cars, grouped into classes with vehicles of similar performance, all battling for class honors and overall supremacy.
At the conclusion of the competition, the fastest times from each class will be combined to determine the overall American Speed Challenge Champion.
During the awards ceremony on Sunday at 4:00 PM, trophies will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place podium finishers in each class.
The driver crowned overall champion will receive the event’s most prestigious honor—the coveted State and Liberty Red Jacket, recognizing them as the fastest competitor of the American Speed Festival.

Within the next 72 hours of your registration, you will receive an email from John Warner or a member of the Festival and Events Team with instructions to complete a required video waiver and signed participant agreement, which must be completed by September 15. These steps are important to ensure a smooth load-in and check-in process at ASF.
